Supervision of the construction of 132 kV substations and lines

This project consisted in consulting services to NEPA for the supervision of eight contractors throughout the construction and implementation of 132 kV substations and lines. 

Project related activities included engineering, construction supervision, equipment procurement, factory testing and technical assistance.

• Preparation of technical specifications for 132 kV lines and substations

• Project management, cost control and contract management

• Construction supervision and quality control

• Review of construction methods

• Tests, methods and procedures for commissioning of HV systems

• Operation and maintenance methods and procedures

• Training in construction management, quality control, procurement, operations and maintenance including work on live HV lines  

Unique aspects of the project

• Supervision of  eight contractors for five 132 kV, 30/40 mVA substations and five 132 kV line segments for a total distance of  209 km 

• Source for equipment located in Asia and Europe
