Preliminary studies (February 2002), implementation and completion (2002-2004) of the infrastructures inventory and maintenance program for municipal roadways, sewers and waterworks, to ensure their durability.  The municipality’s objectives are to establish the condition of their assets, anticipate and justify present and future investment needs, prolong asset’s life cycle, reduce actual costs, standardize analysis mechanisms and decision-making processes for the various sectors of the new city, while optimizing costs.
