SIEPAC Project Central American Electrical Interconnection System
The transmission line will cross six countries in Central America: Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. The primary characteristics of this line are 230 kV voltage, approximate 1769 km length, single and double circuits, 18/19 MCM ACSR contact wires and 477 MCM ACSR flickers, Alumoweld 7 No. 8 ground cables and 24 pairs of fibre optic ground cables, free-standing truss towers and, on certain stretches, steel and cement pole towers. This transmission line will link the systems of various countries to 15 substations, where the bays that will accept the transmission line are to be built. Services provided (2006 to 2009)

The project includes supervision of construction and tests on transmission lines, as well as the design, supervision and tests on access bays and reactive compensation.
