Complexe sportif et culturel régional Île Perrot - Construction of the complex (Île Perrot) (2003): The Île Perrot sports and cultural complex has an area of approximately 4,524 m2 (48,697 sq. ft.) spread over two floors, namely a basement that is approximately 3.2 m deep and a ground floor. The building is used for all kinds of performances: classical music concerts, singers, comedians, etc. In June 2003, Dessau was given a mandate to build this new complex. The design work was completed in keeping with the principles for applying new technologies issued by the Energy Diversification Research Laboratory (EDRL). City of Châteauguay – Municipal library (Châteauguay) (2003): The project involved a new, three-storey building with a basement and an underground section that supports an outdoor terrace. The new municipal library occupies an area of 1,250 m2 on the ground floor and 950 m2 on the other two floors. The service rooms occupy the basement.
Community and recreational centres City of Contrecoeur – Multifunctional centre (Contrecoeur) (2001): Expansion of the École Le Noble-du-Plessis to house a new multifunctional centre including a multi-purpose room with a capacity of 500 people that can be transformed into a reception room, a gymnasium, etc. and can be divided into two (1/3 and 2/3), a large hall, a locker room, washrooms and a room used to store tables and the food concession service. City of Montreal, Verdun Borough - Centre communautaire Elgar, extension (Île-des-Sœurs) (2003): The extension involves a new two-floor building adjacent to the existing community centre, namely 400 m2 on the ground floor and 230 m2 on the second floor. The existing municipal library on the ground floor was expanded and multi-purpose facilities were provided on the second floor.
City of Montreal - Centre sportif Côte-des-Neighs (Montreal) (1996): Construction of a sports centre with a total area of 4,600 m2 designed on two floors and including a swimming pool measuring 10 m x 25 m with auxiliary basins, a divisible gym measuring 24 m x 34 m x 8 m, a multi-purpose room and technical rooms. This project was intended to meet the recreational needs of the Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood and the Western sector of Montreal.
City of Montreal, St-Léonard Borough – Expansion of the former city hall (Montreal) (2003): Expansion of the front of the former St-Léonard city hall. This addition provided for the installation of an elevator integrated in a new entrance.
City Hall - Swimming pools - Baths City of Chambly - Construction of the Centre aquatique de Chambly (Chambly) (1997): Construction of a semi-olympic swimming pool in keeping with provincial and international standards. The building is adjacent to the École secondaire de Chambly and respects the architectural characteristics of that building. The design also includes the integration of leading-edge related services in this field. Several elements were included in this project, including: two diving boards, a wading pool with a solarium, three functional, fully equipped locker rooms, an access ramp and basins for people with disabilities, an observation mezzanine, an administrative sector with classroom, ceramic basins and decks, a filtration system, ventilation, air conditioning and natural gas heating systems, an energy recovery system and a Dry-O-Thon de-humidification system. |
