Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS) – Centre national de biologie expérimentale: (Laval) (March 2004): Extension (3,420 m2) and renovation of current experimental biology centre at Pavilion 26 of the campus of the Institut Armand-Frappier to house animal quarters for primates with Level III bio-security.

Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS) - Centre de développement des biotechnologies - Phase I, Stages A & B: (Laval) (August 2003): Construction of a new, Centre de développement des biotechnologies (CDBL) for multiple tenants, with an area of 128,000 sq. ft. within the Cité de la Biotech, solely for firms operating in this key sector, with the area distributed as follows: 60% laboratories and 40% offices.

Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS): (Varennes) (1993): The addition essentially involved a two-storey building juxtaposed with the existing building, with an area of 6,000 m². As a result of the operating flexibility required by the “research laboratory” vocation of this project, a structural frame with an intermediate capacity was used for the central portion of the building and the structural frame was reduced for the facilities along the perimeter that house small conference rooms, offices and the research centre administration.

Société de développement Angus – Biotech post-incubator: (Montreal) (March 2004): Construction of a new building with a gross area of 90,000 sq. ft. designed to offer modular suites for varied uses to be leased to biotechnology firms that have passed their second round of financing. The building houses: 13 molecular biology suites, measuring approximately 3,600 sq. ft. each, built in 600 sq. ft. modules, with 50% allocated for office space and 50% for laboratories with Level II bio-security; three chemical handling suites, each with nine five-foot chemical fume hoods; common spaces including cylinder storage services, a loading platform, a washroom and a decontamination room; animal quarters for small rodents (Level II bio-security), for a total of 6,500 sq. ft..
