The Site is accessible to all Users for informational purposes only. The accuracy of all information on the Site should be checked with Dessau prior to use. The act of consulting the Site creates no legal relationship of any kind between the User and Dessau. Dessau, its subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives are not liable for any claims arising from the use of the Site. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, nothing on the Site should be construed as a business proposal or any other commitment by Dessau to the User.
Downloadable software, other third-party computer programs, and links to other websites may be available on the Site. The User assumes full responsibility when downloading such software or using such links. Dessau strives to keep the Site free of viruses and other computer threats but makes no warranty to this effect. Consequently, the User consults the Site at his or her own risk.
The Site is the exclusive property of Dessau and can be modified, in whole or in part, at any time, at Dessau’s sole discretion. Access to the Site may be monitored; by using the Site, the User consents to such monitoring. Users are permitted only to consult the Site; no other use whatsoever of the Site, in whole or in part, is permitted without prior written consent from Dessau.
These Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of Quebec or, in the alternative, to the laws of Canada, without giving effect to any principles of conflict of laws. All disputes, controversies or claims arising out of or in connection with the use of this Site, including these Terms and Conditions, are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec. By accessing and using this Site, the User submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec to finally adjudicate any suit, action or proceeding arising out of or in connection with this Site, including these Terms and Conditions. In addition, the User agrees to abide by the applicable laws in the jurisdiction in which he or she is consulting the Site.
Dessau manages the use of personal information in accordance with applicable laws, including the Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and the protection of personal information (R.S.Q., c. A-2.1) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (S.C. 2000, c. 5). Dessau agrees not to disclose to third parties any personal information provided by the User, except as permitted by law or if ordered to do so by a court or other competent authority. Dessau will store such information with the same diligence as all other personal information, as defined by law.
