Highway 30

Complete construction and operations services for a 55-km section of Highway 30.

Through Verreault, our construction subsidiary, Dessau is part of a joint venture responsible for financing, building, operating and maintaining a 55-km section of Highway 30, south of Montreal.

Completed as a public-private partnership, this highway allows drivers to bypass the City of Montreal and serves as a link between highways 10, 15, 20, 540 and 40. The project includes several interchanges, overpasses, road upgrades and two major bridges spanning 2 km and 2.5 km respectively.

Challenges

• Erect the building within a restricted space located in a high-traffic area, while respecting the established 14-month project schedule.
• Construct a 5-storey underground parkade with a Berlinese retaining wall.
• Integrate a ventilation/air conditioning system with distribution through the access flooring.
