New Longueuil City Hall Complex
Dessau's Project Management and Construction Operations Centre has been hired by the City of Longueuil to design and build its new city hall. This includes the signature of a 20-year emphyteutic lease to finance the project.
Dessau’s proposal consists mainly of renovating an existing building on a property measuring 323,000 sq. ft. located at 4250 De la Savane Street in Saint-Hubert. The site was formerly a military base. The layout of the building, covering a surface area of about 129,000 sq. ft., will consist of a political block, an administrative block, an underground garage with 40 parking spaces and an outdoor parking lot for 300 cars.
Realis Construction, a Dessau subsidiary, will complete the construction within 50 weeks, so that the new city hall can be occupied by the end of 2005.
