Dessau Wins the Grand Prix du génie-conseil québécois in Telecommunications
Dessau just won the Award of Excellence in Telecommunications and new technologies of the seventh edition of Grands Prix du génie-conseil québécois, granted by the Association of Consulting Engineers of Quebec (ACEQ) held last Thursday night at the Montreal Science Centre.
Dessau stood out by winning a prize for the remodelling of the telecommunications networks of the Montreal subway system, one of the most comprehensive and complex technological projects ever carried out in the province of Quebec. Jointly with the Société de Transport de Montréal (STM), Dessau’s specialists succeeded in developing innovative and performing solutions to modernize numerous systems part of the subway system, some of which have been in use for more than 40 years.

Dessau also won a prize in the same category last year for the project related to new telecommunications systems and control of operating processes for the extension of the metro towards the City of Laval.
