Sustainable Development – Two LEED-Certified Projects
This year, two of Dessau’s projects were awarded LEED certification in recognition of their exceptional energy efficiency.
La Capitale Financial Group’s Delta 3 building was granted LEED-CS Gold certification by the Canada Green Building Council. A Dessau subsidiary, Verreault, was responsible for the construction, which included special efforts to promote energy efficiency while reducing the project’s ecological footprint. Specifically, Verreault’s initiatives included controlling erosion and sediments during the excavation works, managing and recovering construction waste materials, and controlling air quality on the construction site.

LEED-CI Silver certification was granted to the Fidelity Investments office renovation project, for which Dessau provided electromechanical engineering services.
