Calgary International Airport – New Project in Western Canada

Dessau is playing an active role in the Calgary airport expansion project, which will include the longest runway in Canada.

The Calgary International Airport has experienced a sharp increase in traffic volume, requiring additional facilities and infrastructure. The project includes building the longest runway in Canada (4.2 km), associated taxiways, related runway infrastructure and two airfield underpasses.

Employees of LVM, a Dessau subsidiary, are providing quality control services, including laboratory and field testing services. This major undertaking is scheduled for completion in 2014.
